The non-stick food-grade silicone, combined with the air circulation work achieved thanks to thousands of holes pierced in the baking mat is designed for a crispy result . Bake in a traditional oven, reheat or freeze, the silicone baking sheet will make your culinary preparations a success.
Baking your bread on a Silpain mat is the assurance of an impeccable result, a crispy dough and perfect unmolding. The food-grade silicone technology on fiberglass knit, invented by Demarle, is still manufactured in our Silpat factory in Wavrin. Prepare your special flours and your yeast: professional quality is now accessible to those who love homemade food. Silpat baking mats can be used in any type of oven, refrigerator, and freezer: they can go immediately from the freezer to the oven, without risk of damage.
Cleaning: possible in the dishwasher, but preferably with a sponge and soapy water to prolong the life of your canvas
Storage: flat or rolled in its original case.
Do not use sharp objects on the canvas, and do not put it in contact with a direct heat source (flame, grill, barbecue, etc.)

We charge a flat shipping fee of R90 per order. Free shipping for all orders over R1500!
Orders that contain backordered items will only be shipped once all order items are in stock. If you would like us to ship the in-stock items you will need to pay an extra R90 shipping charge.
Shipping times – Times vary according to location. JHB typically ships in 1 day after dispatch.
Major hubs (CPT, and DBN) are typically day 2 – 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
Outlying areas can take 3 – 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Orders are generally processed the same day if ordered before 1pm but can take up to 1-2 working days from the time of order, excluding weekends. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive an email with your package tracking details.
Local Collection (Gauteng only) – We have moved to a new facility in Melville, JHB. Currently, the collection will only be available upon request and by appointment.
